Paul Walker has lived in many places, including Iowa, Illinois, Michigan, South Korea, California, New Jersey, England, and, currently, Duncanville, Texas. After graduating from Burlington High School in Burlington, Iowa, Paul did undergraduate and post graduate work in Biblical studies and missions at the University of Chicago, Moody Bible Institute, and Wheaton College, where he received his BA in 1961. He served in the American Baptist Pastorate for four years and has been an elder at two different Bible churches for a total of sixteen years. Paul’s hobbies and interests include reading and the Internet, which is understandable given his career experience as a radio maintenance technician, computer programmer, computer database technician, and computer maintenance technician. He currently works at SIL International as Dallas information technician and ethnolog database programmer and serves as chairman of the Chapel elder board. Paul and his wife Wanda have been married for more than 52 years and have three grown children and four grandchildren.

David A. Irwin was born in San Francisco, California, and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, where he graduated from East High School. Dave then went on to receive degrees from Covenant College, Lookout Mountain, Georgia, and Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, Memphis State University. He currently works as bibliographer for SIL International and serves as treasurer for Chapel in the Woods. His interests include sports (especially baseball) and reading.
